Au Sénégal, l’opposition vent debout demande l’ouverture d’une enquête pour fraude impliquant Aliou Sall, le frère du président Macky Sall. Ceci intervient après la publication d’une enquête par nos confrères de BBC affirmant qu’Aliou Sall aurait touché des pots-de-vin liés à l’attribution de deux champs pétroliers et gaziers à l’homme d’affaires romano-australien Frank Timis, en 2012.

Des allégations dont s’est défendu l’accusé devant la presse.

“Selon le programme (BBC/Africa Eye), le rachat d’actions à Frank Timis par BP aurait atteint 250 millions de dollars, soit environ 150 milliards de FCFA. J’aimerais dire que je ne suis pas au courant d’une telle transaction. Je n’ai jamais rencontré un seul représentant de BP et je considère que s’il y avait un tel accord, il ne concernerait que ces deux entités et Aliou Sall n’a rien à voir avec un tel accord”, a-t-il lancé.

Selon les journalistes britanniques, Aliou Sall aurait touché 250 000 dollars lors de la rétrocession des blocs par Frank Timis à British Petroleum par le biais de sa société Agritrans, en plus d’1,5 million de dollars en salaire sur cinq ans, et 3 millions de dollars en actions des sociétés Timis.

“Agritrans est une société qui existe depuis 2011 et qui, comme toutes les sociétés sénégalaises, est cotée sur le site APIX. Il n’y a donc aucune volonté de cacher son existence. Il n’est plus actif depuis que je travaille à nouveau pour le gouvernement du Sénégal. Les affirmations de la BBC sont totalement fausses et mon avocat s’en occupera”, a-t-il prévenu.

Aliou Sall rappelle que la première attribution des blocs d’hydrocarbures à Frank Timis avait été signée par Abdoulaye Wade, alors président en 2012. Pour l’heure, aucune investigation n’a été ouverte par la justice sénégalaise sur ce dossier.
