Vatican : sommet de crise sur les abus sexuels

Le pape va réunir au Vatican la hiérarchie épiscopale de la planète qui sera placée devant ses responsabilités face aux scandales d’agressions sexuelles de mineurs.

Le pape François a appelé les fidèles à prier pour un sommet qui va se tenir au Vatican cette semaine. Il sera question d’examiner la question des abus sexuels notamment de la part des prêtres.

Le souverain pontife a rassemblé des responsables religieux, mais aussi des victimes pour trouver de nouvelles solutions à ce problème qui reste encore tabou dans l‘Église catholique.

“De jeudi à dimanche prochain, les présidents de toutes les conférences épiscopales se réuniront au Vatican sur le thème de la protection des mineurs dans l‘église. Je vous invite à prier pour ce rendez-vous, que j’ai voulu comme un acte de forte responsabilité pastorale pour faire face à un défi urgent de notre époque”.

“Il y a une lutte entre le pape et ses partisans qui veulent un changement. Beaucoup de gens parmi les évêques et le clergé ne veulent pas de transparence et d’application de la loi et de l’ordre dans la question des abus dans le monde”.

Ce sommet aura lieu quelques jours à peine après l’expulsion d’un ancien cardinal américain de 88 ans accusé d’abus sexuels.
