RDC : les populations mécontentes après le report de la présidentielle

Réactions de la population à Kinsahasa en Rdc, suite au report des élections, notamment présidentielle au 30 décembre.

Des élections déja reportées à l’expiration du deuxième et dernier mandat du président Kabila officiellement faute de moyens financiers.

Fin 2017, puis le 23 décembre 2018, et maintenant le 30 décembre: c’est le troisième report de ces élections générales depuis la fin du deuxième et dernier mandat de M. Kabila le 20 décembre 2016, dans le plus grand pays d’Afrique sub-saharienne, connu pour son instabilité et ses richesses minérales.

Aujourd’hui encore, les habitants ne cachent pas leur déception.

“Même si aujourd’hui nous donnons à M. Nangaa ou à M. Kabila même 10 ans, je vous dis que Kabila n’arrivera pas à organiser les élections, il est un dictateur.” Déclare courroucé Nestor Basekele, un manifestant.

“On est ici parce qu’on entend des murmures que Corneille Nangaa a reporté les élections. On ne sait plus ce qu’il cherche dans ce pays. Démissionnez et laissez notre pays! On vous a laissé deux ans et vous avez été incapables et vous demandez encore une semaine? On dit non! Parce que ce dimanche on ira tous aux élections.” Ajoute Mousa, partisan de l’Union pour la démocratie et le progrès social.

La Commission électorale nationale indépendante a annoncé le report du scrutin du 23 décembre d’une semaine, évoquant des problèmes techniques.

Cette “première transmission pacifique” du pouvoir en République démocratique du Congo attendra encore au moins une semaine:

Elections already postponed on the expiry of President Kabila's second and last term officially for lack of financial means.

The Independent National Electoral Commission announced the postponement of the December 23rd poll for a week, citing technical problems.
