La Lutte pour le changement (LUCHA) se lance elle aussi dans la campagne pour les élections générales (législatives, provinciales et présidentielle) du 23 décembre prochain en RDC. Ce mouvement de la société civile vient de lancer une campagne dénommée « Balayer les médiocres ».

Meetings, actions humanitaires, conférences de presse, ….Depuis le lancement le 22 novembre de la campagne électorale relative aux scrutins législatifs, provinciaux et présidentiel du 23 décembre, tous les acteurs politiques de RDC ou presque sont en mouvement incessant comme les molécules dans les gaz.

Mais, ces cadors de la politique congolaise pourraient rencontrer sur le terrain, des membres de la société civile. Notamment ceux de la LUCHA. Eux qui viennent de lancer la campagne « Balayer les médiocres ». Principal objectif : « Conscientiser notre peuple sur la nécessité d’arracher notre liberté longtemps prise en otage par la prédation du système Kabila. Chers Compatriotes, joignez-vous à cette opération décisive ! » , peut-on lire sur un tweet.

Si dans leur entendement les médiocres se trouvent pour la plupart dans le camp de Joseph Kabila, les initiateurs de la campagne se veulent méticuleux et prudent de manière à ne pas tomber dans la désillusion. « Ne remplaçons pas les dirigeants médiocres par les prétendants médiocres », lit-on dans un autre tweet de la campagne.

Reste à savoir si « Balayer les médiocres » produira les mêmes effets que le Balai citoyen au Burkina Faso en 2014. Tant les réalités ne sont pas les mêmes.

Les élections du 23 décembre prochain sont d’un enjeu de taille. Le cas de la présidentielle qui est censée offrir à la RDC la toute première alternance pacifique dans l’histoire de cet immense pays d’Afrique centrale aux sous-sol et sol sauvagement riches.

It remains to be seen whether "Sweeping the mediocre" will produce the same effects as the Broom Citizen in Burkina Faso in 2014. Both the realities are not the same.
