Meghan Markle et le prince Harry: leur Noël sous tension à Sandringham

Sur invitation de la reine Elisabeth, la famille royale britannique s’est retrouvée au château de Sandringham, dans le Norfolk pour la célébration de la fête de Noel. Mais, la Noel de Meghan Markle s’annonce très tendue et sera largement scrutée par la presse people.

Avec les récentes caprices de la femme de Harry qui ont fait les choux gras de la presse, il risque d’y avoir quelques étincelles autour du sapin de Noël des Windsor. Et pourtant, ce ne sera pas un baptême du feu pour Meghan, car, elle y était l’an passé, sans résider toutefois au château. 

L’inquiétude, c’est la collaboration entre Meghan et Kate qui, d’après la presse britannique seraient en froid. Face à cette situation, Kate Middleton aurait souhaité passer les fêtes de fin d’année avec sa famille plutôt que de croiser sa belle-sœur chez la reine.

Meghan, dans un entretien accordé au Daily Mail, à se montrer patiente et exemplaire. «On croise ici des personnalités qui ont les plus grands ego du pays, et tout ce monde recherche le plus d’attention et de reconnaissance possible, on est comme immergé dans une partie de flipper.»  avait il évoqué. Pour lui, Meghan doit pouvoir profiter de l’occasion « pour attirer l’attention de la reine et lui parler à l’oreille ».

Il sera servi le 25 décembre, le même menu qui est servi depuis des années : deux énormes dindes farcies à la sauge, aux oignons et aux châtaignes, accompagnées de pommes de terre rôties, de purée et de choux de Bruxelles. Puis Meghan devra suivre les conseils de Paul Burrell et approcher la reine de façon plus intime… à condition de savoir jouer aux cartes.

Au lendemain de la Noel, le 26 décembre, alors que les hommes participent à une traditionnelle chasse aux faisans, les femmes vont devoir se supporter. Mais la presse britannique a annoncé il y a quelques jours que Harry pourrait renoncer à la traditionnelle chasse suite à une requête de Meghan, adepte du régime végétarien et connue pour être une protectrice des animaux.

For him, Meghan must be able to take advantage of the opportunity "to attract the attention of the queen and speak to her in the ear".

It will be served on December 25, the same menu that has been served for years: two huge turkeys stuffed with sage, onions and chestnuts, accompanied by roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Then Meghan will have to follow Paul Burrell's advice and approach the Queen in a more intimate way ... as long as you know how to play cards.
