Laurent Gbagbo, « il n’y a plus d’intérim. J’assume pleinement la direction du Parti »

Par l’intermédiaire du secrétaire général du FPI (aile Sangaré), l’ancien président de la Côte d’Ivoire Laurent Gbagbo a adressé un communiqué aux militants et cadres du parti pour mettre fin à l’intérim de la présidence.
Depuis la disparition d’Aboudrahamane Sangaré qui assurait l’intérim du Front populaire ivoirien à la place du président, Laurent Gbagbo qui est emprisonné à la CPI, c’est le vice-président qui prend donc cette responsabilité, conformément aux textes dudit parti. Mais Laurent Gbagbo vient de lever l’intérim en annonçant dans un communiqué qu’« il n’y a plus d’intérim. 

J’assume pleinement la direction du Parti ».  Il indique alors que conformément «à nos statuts, je déciderai de la convocation des réunions des instances statutaires, qu’il reviendra aux vice-présidents, dans le respect de l’ordre hiérarchique, de présider ».

Laurent Gbagbo prend donc les rênes de son parti et prendra de ce fait, les grandes décisions. Toutefois, étant en prison, il indique que « la mise en œuvre des décisions, la gestion et l’administration du Parti au quotidien, continueront d’être assurées par le Secrétaire Général du Parti, le camarade Assoa Adou, avec lequel je suis en rapport constant ».

Le désormais président en exercice du FPI lance un appel à «tous les responsables du Parti, chacun au poste où il se trouve, à accomplir avec diligence les tâches qui lui ont été confiées à l’issue du 4e Congrès ordinaire de Moossou et à donner le meilleur de lui-même tant pour l’aboutissement heureux de notre combat, en mémoire du grand artisan de ce congrès que fût le Président par intérim, le camarade Premier Vice-président Sangaré Abou Drahamane ».

Laurent Gbagbo takes the reins of his party and will take the major decisions. However, being in prison, he said that "the implementation of decisions, management and administration of the Party on a daily basis, will continue to be ensured by the Secretary General of the Party, Comrade Assoa Adou, with whom I am in constant report ".

The current President-in-Office of the FPI calls on "all Party leaders, each in the position where he is, to diligently carry out the tasks entrusted to him at the end of the 4th Ordinary Congress of Moossou and to give the best of himself for the successful outcome of our fight, in memory of the great architect of this congress as the Acting President, comrade First Vice President Sangaré Abu Drahamane ".
